This comes from Melynda Jarratt in Fredericton. A person who has spent endless hours trying to right a social wrong.

A study that has just been announced by the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Research Center on Family Violence at UNB in Fredericton.

OUR CHILDREN need these researchers to hear from you. If we let custodial parents take over this study, our kids will suffer for another generation. It is up to non-custodial parents to speak for their children!!

The study is looking for anybody with dependant children who in the last five years has been involved in a family court case and who sought help from the courts, mediators or lawyers. They are interested in cases where abuse has been alleged or actually occurred. I know that they expect to hear ONLY from custodial women who have accused their former partners (non-custodial men) of abuse. Let's get the facts in front of these researchers!!!!! They need to hear from NON-CUSTODIAL PARENTS,

Unless you take the time to call the research results will ONCE AGAIN be skewed in favour of angry custodial parents (both men and women) who, we believe, do and will make false allegations of abuse in the heat of custody battles and get away with it.
