Fathers Battling Injustice

Our tax dollars used for feminist propaganda in schools

The school stuff appears at the end of this post - scary. This is the same outfit that Paul Parks mentions in his post below is conducting a study on Custody, Access, Spousal Abuse and Family Law.

From the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Research Center on Family Violence at UNB in Fredericton, the "Viewpoint" section of their summer 1999 newsletetter (see link below, my CAPS):

"Bug-eyed, Red-faced, and Foaming at the Mouth? Recognizing the Abusers among Us

Little is known about the mind of the abuser, since HE does not normally volunteer to be studied. Since HE does not perceive that there is anything "wrong" with HIM, and does not wish that others form a negative impression, HE will not seek professional help unless HE has been subjected to legal sanctions or otherwise threatened with public humiliation. According to the testimony of victims and the observations of psychologists, HIS most consistent feature is that of apparent normality: ordinary concepts of psychopathology fail to define or comprehend HIS peculiar disposition to commit violent acts against those HE professes to love ..."

$1.1 Million of our tax dollars to study the "girl child"? Elsewhere in the newsletter:

"The five family violence centres have recently received at least $850,000 over two years from Status of Women Canada to continue their joint project, 'The Development of a National Strategy on Violence Prevention and the Girl Child,' the Centres hope to receive an additional $250,000 from SWC to complete their work ...".

Preparing the next generation of feminazis:

"Our project ... will comprise a more empirical approach to gender specific programming. The team will pilot a program for adolescents, aimed at increasing their knowledge of the ingredients of healthy relationships, structural barriers encountered by young women, issues of violence against women, and gendered power imbalances in our society. The program will be delivered in several kinds of school contexts: girls alone in an all-girls school; girls-alone in a co ed school in an urban area; girls-alone in a coed school in a rural area; genders together in a co ed school in an urban area; and genders together in a co ed school in a rural area. The project's major purpose will be to determine the school contexts in which the program is delivered with the most (and correspondingly the least) positive impacts."
