Wanted - assessment reports from the Office of the Children's Lawyer

The Canada Court Watch Program is looking for copies of assessments done for parents in Ontario as part of a public review process. We have had a number of complaints about the OCL failing to protect children and that reports of some of its workers are biased and seriously flawed. However, some have reported having good reports and having dealt with social workers that did their job professionally. A number of people have complained about how the OCL is being called in by the courts to do an assessment at great expense to the taxpayers yet little if anything changes.

We would like those who have had assessments done by the Ontario's Office of the Children's lawyer provide us with a copy of their reports so that we can begin to review them as part of a detailed analysis of the performance of its workers.

It is our hope to identify why some reports are good and why some are bad.
