That was well said Blue. Educating the public is vital, and the only way of future reform. I believe many women would support equality in the courts too. Equality is a measure of preventing abuse of any single party/gender.

Of course, that does not help any of us in the present. If the Federal Government has an indemnity from being sued (and I do not know for certain), then perhaps the existing laws could be challenged in the Supreme Court of Canada.

You would think that a competent male lawyer would have also been victimized by the current system, and would have volunteered to lead such a legal challenge long ago. I know I am idealistic, but this is supposed to be the best country in the world, where everyone is created equal in the eyes of the law.

Those of us currently entwined in Family Law Legal cases need a miracle before more child/parent bond permanently suffer.
