Mediation, negotiation, and reasonable agreements are for reasonable people in reasonable situations where there is good will and a genuine desire to honour agreements.
Custody battles with spiteful allegations and PAS are in a whole different realm.
Manny and his children have suffered enormous emotional trauma. If you have never been on the other end of such spiteful allegations from someone whom you love or have loved and whom you must rely on for the sake of your children then you have absolutely no idea just how helpless, confused, disoriented and doubtful one can become.
This is horrendous mental and emotional cruelty.
The victims of false allegations and PAS need validation and massive emotional and community support which we all know simply does not happen.
Irony is not sufficient to describe a situation where a woman pulls a man's children from his reach and blocks his access for months or years with spiteful allegations and then drops the children off and doesn't even come to visit them.
Men and children do not live upon bread alone. People are human and have capacity for joy, sorrow and spiritual suffering.
We live in a very materialistic society to the extent that the courts have lost or cannot find the tools to appropriately measure the spiritual and emotional damage that is totally obvious to seven year old child.
The great sadness here is the fact that most often men do not openly appreciate, speak and stand up for other men. There is a silent acceptance that men and children should suffer in silence this kind of abuse at the hands of unbalanced women.
Where do you suppose that this woman learned this kind of behavior?
Where are the Mandatory Anger Control programs for women who unlawfull detain children and make spiteful allegations to justify their crimes?
If anyone thinks that a lawyer is going to achieve this while all the men in the country say and do nothing they are greatly mistaken.
